So here is our second major update to the game and it brings a lot with it. There is now a full day and night cycle, which was fairly easy to implement, as well as a kingdom system. The kingdom will be randomly named and come with a randomly chosen tax that's due on a random day, hence the name of the game. We're going to try and make the majority of events in the game completely random so everyone can have a unique experience when the game is released. There was so much in this update that I couldn't get to it all so check below for the full list.

  • Full day and night cycle
  • The kingdom will now randomly go to war if tension is high.
  • New NPCs
    • Soldier
    • Teller (Tells you the state of affairs)
    • Tax Collector
  • A tax collector will randomly stop by your store and collect taxes
  • New player and NPC torches
  • New map features
    • Castletown to the northwest
    • Abandoned castle to the northeast
  • New strike system (W.I.P)
  • Fixed glitch causing ingots from storage crates to spawn as blank ingots
  • Fixed glitch causing renewed items from the store to automatically be owned
  • Guard house is now enterable
  • Fixed glitch causing NPCs to randomly get stuck on the ground
  • Fixed glitch causing NPCs to launch player across the map when in front of them 
  • Fixed glitch causing progress bar above ingots to look away from camera
  • New music
  • New jail system
  • Characters now have stylistic bodies
